Starburst Cardigan (Crochet Tutorial)
The Starburst baby cardigan is worked by combining 36 pieces of Starburst granny squares. As soon as we finished making all the starburst granny squares and combined them into the desired shape, we are going to crochet the arms. To finish off we will make the borders.

COMBINE GRANNY SQARES
TO COMBINE THE GRANNY SQUARES WE ARE GOING TO TAKE TWO SQUARES AND PUT THEM TOGETHER SO THAT THE FRONT PART WILL BE ON THE OUTSIDE FOR BOTH OF THEM.
THEN WE ARE GOING TO TAKE THE CROCHET HOOK AND CROCHET SLST AROUND THE TWO BORDERS. WE WILL INSERT THE HOOK TO THE BACK LOOP ONLY FOR THE FIRST SQUARE AND THE FRONT LOOP ONLY FOR THE SECOND SQUARE.
ARMS
ONCE WE CONNECTED ALL THE SQUARES AND OBTAINED THE DESIRED SHAPE WE ARE GOING TO MAKE THE ARMS:
WE ARE GOING TO INSERT THE HOOK INTO THE CHAIN SPACE AT THE ARMPIT. THEN WE ARE GOING TO CH3 AND 2DC INTO THE SAME CH-SP. THEN WE WILL MOVE TO THE NEXT CH-SP AND 3DC. WE WILL DO 3DC INTO EACH CH-SP UNTIL WE REACH THE END OF THE ROW. WE WILL CLOSE THE ROUND BY MAKING A SLST INTO THE FIRST DC OF THE ROUND
CONTINUE UNTIL REACHED THE DESIRED LENGTH AND THEN ADD ONE ROW OF STARBURST GRANNY SQUARES (FIRST, CONNECT FOUR SQUARES AND THEN ATTACH TO ARM)
AFTER APPLYING THE SQUARES CONTINUE WITH FOUR MORE ROUNDS OF GRANNY STITCH PATTERN.
FINISH OFF WITH ONE ROUND OF SC.
BORDERS
ALL WE HAVE LEFT NOW IS TO FINISH OFF THE CARDIGAN BY MAKING ONE ROUND OF SC ALL AROUND THE BORDERS FROM THE NECK TO THE SIDES UNTIL THE BOTTOM.
NOW WE FINISHED OUR STARBURST CARDIGAN. THE ONLY THING LEFT IS THE LEFTOVER YARNS.
YOU CAN HIDE THEM BY SIMPLY WEAVING THEM IN WITH THE DARNING NEEDLE.
AND HERE YOU GO. THE FINISHED CARDIGAN!
