The BALACLAVA SCARF is crafted using 17 granny squares. This versatile pattern also allows you to create a classic balaclava— simply use 8 granny squares instead.

Personally, I opted for the scarf design because I find it more comfortable, especially when tied snugly around the neck for extra warmth.

The pattern guide begins with step-by- step instructions for creating the granny squares. From there, you'll learn how to assemble and combine them to achieve the final shape of the balaclava or scarf.
